About Us

Morris Read and Co was established in 1935 when A.Denis Morris set up practice from offices in Star Chambers Princes Square Wolverhampton. In 1959 the practice moved to its current location at 51 Waterloo Road Wolverhampton and has continued to provide legal services over a wide range of legal issues.

In a world which places emphasis upon slick presentation and a ‘corporate image’ Morris Read & Co seeks to preserve what was best from the past whilst embracing the technology of the present in order to provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to its clients which is tailored to their needs.

Our services include residential buying and selling of property throughout England and Wales, divorce, Will and Probate and the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and other general personal matters which do not fit neatly into a particular category.

We also provide services to business clients including commercial conveyancing, company matters, the sale of small businesses, Landlord and Tenant matters including preparation of Leases and tenancy agreements, debt recovery and liquor licensing.
